Dear Fellow “Here Be Dragons Exchange” Participant,

I am so excited to see your creation! I am listing my general likes and DNWs here, as well as some specific ideas I have for each fandom I’m requesting.

Likes: I love epistolary fic and in-universe documents or legends. For character-driven stories, I enjoy depictions of healthy relationships (sexual/romantic/otherwise) and found family, as well as stories about the resilience and breaking points of friendships and how broken or faded friendships can be rekindled and repaired.

DNWs: explicit sex involving non-anthropoids, rape, graphic photorealistic depictions of gore or body horror (written is alright)

I have only read the first book of this series, so something focusing specifically around the events of His Majesty’s Dragon would be great! For fic, I love the parts of the book where Laurence has to balance being a dragon’s captain against being a Regency gentleman and would be thrilled with anything exploring that and how Temeraire himself learns about society’s expectations (or how his social experience differs among dragon society). For art, I think it would be really neat to see some diagrams of dragon combat formations, or how a dragon looks when fully crewed for combat (or even just how their gear works), but I would really be happy with anything!
